I am a member of several Facebook groups regarding regulations and rules when it comes to flying with kids. Until now that has been the only place to get answers to the questions that airlines and airports don’t provide on their websites. Flying with Kids has been a really helpful “tool” ahead of my upcoming vacation, where my husband and I will travel across 3 continents for almost 4 months with our 19 month old daughter

I just gave birth one month ago and have decided with my husband that we’ll go to Dubai for a family vacation in December, when our daughter is 5 months old. I am so happy that I know this much in advance everything regarding flying Emirates with a “newborn”. It really gives me peace of mind and now I just we’ll have a great first flight as a family

Before finding Flying with Kids I almost always contacted the airline’s customer service several weeks in advance to get a definite answer about if they accept my car seat for baby. I really don’t understand why this differs from airline to airline

I live in Germany, but I am originally from Colorado. After becoming a dad two years ago I travel alone with my daughter every year to visit our family in the States. One would think that flying is flying regardless of destination, but I had to learn the hard way, that the difference between flying long-haul between Europe and the States alone vs. with a baby is huge and it requires a lot of extra careful planning
